i just need you all to know where i get my written word crazy from
My sister and I were supposed to join my mom and grandmother in Baltimore this weekend for our great uncle’s 80th birthday. Thanks to hurricane Irene, we probs won’t be going anymore, and we had to break it to my mom over e-mail. This was the exchange:
My sister’s email:
i do not think we will be able to come to balts. the weather is about to get all the way live and i cannot risk being stranded in baltimore all day sunday. nor do i want to be on a bus in the rizzy rain. Does this make you sad???
My email:
I really wanna go, but NYC is on some hide yo kids hide yo wives and go to the highest plane type stuff right now. Talmbout we may have to evacuate and stuff. I don’t want to be out on public transpo in all that. Plus, Amtrak has apparently canceled their service south of DC for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. :( :( :( :( :( :(
My mom’s response:
I WANT AND MISS MY CHILDREN! That screamed and said, I want you to be safe. So, in reference to my oldest daughters email, I am going to have to hide my kids on this one. So don’t come. I am going to have to talk me and grandma off this cliff.
